Tim Campbell
Counselling offers a confidential and supportive environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with the guidance of a trained professional. As a person-centered counsellor, I believe the answers lie within you. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you navigate challenges, gain clarity, and find a path that feels right for you.
In our sessions, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on what matters most in your life. Counselling can support you with a variety of concerns, including managing stress, anxiety, and depression, coping with life transitions, addressing relationship difficulties, or fostering personal growth. Together, we’ll explore your needs and priorities to uncover insights and solutions that empower and uplift you.
I approach every session with empathy and without judgment, creating a space where you feel truly heard, understood, and respected. Whether you’re facing a tough time or seeking deeper self-awareness, counselling can be a transformative step toward positive change and personal development.

British Association Counselling Psychotherapy Member
I am a qualified clinical therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals facing a wide range of challenges, whether in short-term or long-term settings.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework for good practice, ensuring a safe, professional, and compassionate environment for every client.

My counselling journey has led me to work in diverse settings, including further education institutions, specialised services for survivors of rape, exploitation, and domestic abuse, as well as a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre overseas. These experiences have equipped me to support clients through various complex and sensitive issues with empathy and understanding.

At the heart of my practice is a person-centred approach. I believe that each individual has the capacity to find their own answers. My sessions are relaxed, paced to your comfort, and free from pressures like "homework." I value creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own rhythm.

My eclectic life experiences also shape my practice. I bring over a decade of experience in the care sector, supporting individuals with physical needs, mental health challenges, and learning disabilities. Additionally, I have served in the armed forces and worked in roles as diverse as scaffolding and driving wagons. These varied experiences help me connect with people from all walks of life, bringing a grounded and relatable perspective to my work.

I am passionate about helping others find their way, no matter where their journey begins.
Services
Private Sessions
I provide in-person counselling tailored to adults aged 18 and older. To ensure therapy is as effective as possible, we’ll typically begin with regular weekly sessions. Over time, as you feel ready, we can transition to fortnightly and eventually monthly sessions.
Our time together will focus on what matters most to you, guided by your unique needs and priorities. While I may offer suggestions or advice when it feels helpful, the journey we take will always be collaborative and centered on your well-being.
A Space Designed for Calm and Privacy
Your sessions take place in a tranquil garden studio on a secluded third of an acre, surrounded by mature trees and the gentle sounds of nature. It’s a private, peaceful setting where you can speak freely without interruption.
Inside, the space is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating, greenery, and natural light from large garden-facing windows. Here, you can slow down, breathe, and focus on what matters to you.
